Revere Dentist That Takes Metlife
At All Pro Dental we don’t want there to be any obstacles between you and getting dental health. We take many different insurances as well as providing financing options for regular dental services, restorative services and more.
If you and your family use MetLife for insurance, we would be happy to discuss your coverage options with our dental office. If you have any questions on how coverage works, please contact your insurance provider or give us a call.
What Does MetLife Dental Cover?
Like many insurance companies, MetLife provides a variety of plan options for their customers. This includes both PPO and HMO plans as well as different benefits based on the plan that you choose. The best way to understand your coverage is to look up your plan on the MetLife website or contact MetLife.
What's The Difference Between PPO and HMO Dental Insurance?
PPO stands for Preferred Provider Organization, and HMO stands for Health Maintenance Organization. PPO insurance involves working with a variety of doctors while an HMO has potentially a smaller network. HMOs often provide lower costs but more restricted options in terms of which dentists or doctors take your insurance. PPO insurance plans might have higher costs but provide a larger range of potential doctors and dentists that accept your plan. HMOs often require patients to coordinate health visits through their PCP (primary care provider). With MetLife PPO plans you can see a dentist in or out of your network and still get coverage (but you will likely save more when staying in your network).
Are All Dental Procedures Covered By MetLife?
While PPO insurance through MetLife covers a wide range of both providers and procedures, not every procedure is covered. With many dental insurances routine dental services like a check-up or an exam are fully covered. Other procedures are partially covered or covered with a deductible like root canals and dental crowns. And some procedures are not covered like cosmetic dentistry. To find out what is covered by your plan, make sure to check your insurance.
